Science Café with Michal Hejcman - 23 May 2018, Brussels, Belgium

[Source: Research & Innovation] Science Café with Michal Hejcman is an unconventional open discussion with theme "When botany and chemistry meet archaeology?". Prof. Michal Hejcman is a recognized interdisciplinary scientist and works in the fields of environmental chemistry, agronomy and botany. His research is focused on patterns of human subsistence across time and space. He conducts investigations of deserted human settlements and has participated in various archaeological excavations from Israel to Iceland. Prof. Hejcman leads the research group Human Adaptability Studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Science Café is a forum for discussion of current work and interesting scientific issues. It aims to be informal and accessible. Anyone can participate; speaker is there to be questioned and to talk about his work.
