In its recently published European Research Area (ERA) Roadmap, the Czech Republic considers participation in EUREKA and Eurostars as one of the top priorities for 2016-2020 . In order to keep on enabling participation of Czech research organisations and private enterprises in the EUREKA programmes, a specific R&D programme ( “Inter-Excellence” ) will be prepared, adopted and implemented since 2016 as well as other complementary funding instruments that will preserve the Czech involvement in Eurostars, among other programmes.
