Water is a pressing issue in current times. The increase in the urban population, limiting natural resources and improper water management has increased the need for proper water management. The Indo-European partnership for research and innovation has been devised with the aim to bring good practices and technologies in the sector of water management. The idea is to bring together skilled agencies including research organizations, universities, NGOs and SMEs from India and European Union (EU) to share their expertise and set examples in water treatment, wastewater treatment, recycle and reuse, which whould serve as models for similar scenarios across India and the globe. Four projects have been sanctioned under the partnership - Eco India, NaWaTech, SARASWATI and SWINGS. Venue: Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration Baner Road, PUNE (M.S.), INDIA
