Human Trafficking, Modern Slavery and Migration: A European Crisis - 9 March 2016, Rome (via Research & Innovation)

As one of the fastest growing criminal eco-systems, modern slavery masks and morphs itself continuously; adopting new forms and exploiting the internet-based services such as web advertising, the dark web and social media to recruit victims. The SciCafe2.0 European Observatory for Crowd-Sourcing has been exploring socially co-generative means of helping real communities tackling real problems of which modern slavery, human trafficking and migration have been one of the most complex problem sets faced at various community levels: the European Union, the Member States and the local host communities. The workshop is hosted by the SciCafe2-0 Consortium and the European Observatory for Crowd-Sourcing.
