Second Copernicus satellite: better data for JRC research - 23 Jun 2015 (via JRC)

On 23 June, Sentinel-2A was launched from Kourou, French Guiana.  It is the second satellite in the joint European Union and European Space Agency Copernicus programme, following the launch of Sentinel in April 2014.
