[Source: Research & Innovation] The Run4Life H2020 project will be present at the upcoming IFAT trade fair in Munich on May 17th! Domestic wastewater is an important carrier of resources, especially water and nutrients. The Run4Life project demonstrates an alternative strategy for improving nutrient recovery. At 4 sites in Europe, for the first time nutrients will be recovered from domestic waste streams of several 100 dwellings. The involvement of end users and other stakeholders is a fundamental part in achieving institutional, legal and social acceptance. A Stakeholder Engagement Event is being organised, in cooperation with the European Sustainable Phosphorous Platform, solution providers, EU projects on resource recovery, and other stakeholders.
