FamiliesAndSocieties – Final Conference - 18 October 2016, Brussels

[Source: Research & Innovation] FamiliesAndSocieties (Changing families and sustainable societies: Policy contexts and diversity over the life course and across generations ) is a large-scale collaborative research project in the Seventh Framework Programme. The project addresses the development of families in Europe and the challenges posed by their increasing complexity and diversity. It aims to extend the research terrain and to provide a broader empirically grounded basis for policy making at the European, the national, and the local level by addressing the causes and consequences of family change, reflected in changing parental and gender roles, vulnerabilities, and new patterns in intergenerational relationships in families and societies in Europe. The project seeks to contribute to policy frameworks promoting well-being of families and sustainable societal development.
