Thought of the day: Unity in Diversity 😊 One of the greatest gifts of dance: Each person is unique, speaking differently through our bodies, each coming from diverse backgrounds. Yet, we move as a collective unit, move in unity. We use our diversity and differences to our strengths, each person bringing something unique to the movement/art. Meeting people from all over the world has given me a great appreciation for diversity and finding pathways to connect/communicate even if we don't speak the same language. And sometimes, dance becomes our common language. Celebrate our differences. Diversity can create new opportunities and fuel creativity; use it to your advantage. Strengths over deficits.
