The quest of trying Moroccan wine continues with this Cabernet by Domaine des Ouled Thaleb. Labeled as Cuvee du President Cabernet. Located 40kms north of Casablanca it has a quite costal influence on the wine. Many Moroccan wine regions are classified as Mediterranean climate, which are characterised by long growing seasons of moderate to warm weather (examples include Mclaren Vale (AUS); Tuscany (ITA) and Napa (USA)) . This wine had a light raspberry cherry nose. Dry with a medium body and soft tannins. Spice and slight medicinal herbaceous character. A lighter style of Cabernet possibly due to that costal influence. #casualwineguy #wine #winenerd #winegeek #instawine #wineeducation #winetime #vin #vino #wien #winereview #vineyard #winery #adventure #travel #winereview #morocco #moroc #moroccanwine #morocvin #cuveedupresident #ouledthaleb by casualwineguy
