"Smart strategies and policies for sustainable shopping centres: energy efficient and cost-competitive retrofitting solutions”, will be held in Brussels on 13 June. It comes under the framework of the EU-funded project CommONEnergy, aimed at helping re-conceptualise shopping malls and turn them into beacons of energy efficiency by providing smart, innovative and cost-effective solutions for deep and systemic retrofitting and as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). The event aims to demonstrate to policy-makers and other participants the importance of having commercial buildings as a focus in the building-related directives.
