Presenting results from Pan-European Survey on Citizen Experience and Satisfaction with Public Services - 15 June 2015, Brussels (via Research & Innovation)

ANTICORRP is a large-scale research project funded by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. The central objective of ANTICORRP is to investigate factors that promote or hinder the development of effective anti-corruption policies. This interdisciplinary project includes researchers from anthropology, criminology, law, economic, gender studies, history, law, political science, public policy and public administration. The project is organised into four thematic pillars, which include 11 substantive work packages. During this event, Anticorrp researchers will present the results of our Pan-European Survey on the Quality of Government and Corruption at the national and regional level, conducted in 2013. The survey, which was conducted by researchers from the Quality of Government Institute, is the largest multi-country governance survey aimed at capturing regional variation and its explanations. The survey focused on the experience of citizens in 206 European regions with public services and their level of satisfaction as well as on individual strategies of getting the desired quality of service. Building on previous collaborations with the EU Commission and DG REGIO, we present a new round of the ’European Quality of Government Index (EQI), which is the first multi-country, sub-national indicator of quality of government.
