The European Commission, DG-Research and Innovation, is launching a pan-European research and innovation initiative on post-2030 decarbonisation pathways, accompanied by a series of actions within the context of Horizon2020. In this context, the Directorate Climate Action and Resource Efficiency will hold a workshop on "Preparing the transition: research and innovation for post-2030 decarbonisation pathways". The objective of the workshop is to communicate and discuss with the relevant scientific community and the broader stakeholder community our plans for a pan-European scientific initiative regarding post-2030 decarbonisation pathways and scenarios, based on a co-design principle, through appropriate engagement of all relevant stakeholders such as public authorities, businesses, industry, civil society. The workshop is structured around key presentations and two dedicated panel sessions. More information is available in the draft agenda below. Registration is compulsory for this event.
